History of Loads

1999 Season

This team started in the Fall of 1998 when a group of young freshman out of First Year Experience, FYE, came together to play Broomball and have fun during their first Winter Carnival. The group decided to call themselves, Fully Loaded, and have a Bullet as their mascot.  But during registration it came to their attention that Fully Loaded would not fit on the roster of teams, too many letters. Then they thought of Blow Big Loads, which is where the name Loads came from, and the decided on a "Fog" as there mascot.  So it was shortend to Loads and has remained that ever since.

The first Loads team was made up of:

They missed the playoffs by 1 game. But for a group of freshman they did very well. Let's hope the 2000 season with now two Loads teams,Loads and the new L2K or Loads 2000, do very well and see both teams in the playoffs and win.

 

2000 Season

Do to the large interest among friends of the original team, Tim Braun and Marc Hill decided to split and coach their own teams.  Marc's team would remain as Loads, and Tim would create L2K.  Brandon Butler was listed as the captain because at the time rosters were due Marc and Tim were not sure if they would be on the same team or not.

2001 Season

Do to the large interest among friends of the original team, Fully Loaded Inc. has expanded to 5 teams.  We have also reached out with 2 of those teams being part of the DHH League and 1 team organizing in McNair League.  Tim Braun is the Captain of ReLoaded (formerly L2K), and Therapists of America in McNair.  Marc Hill is once again the Captain and Coach of Loads.  Do to large interest among freshman we have created a Freshmen Development Team called Wunderkinden or Wonder Children.  This team will have Travis Hutchins and Shaun LeVeque as Co-Captains.  Loads has also create a team in DHH to be Captained by Brandon Butler.  We have expanded to almost 50 members from our original 14.
